Theresa Elizabeth Bouillon
Theresa Elizabeth Bouillon, age 78, of New Riegel, passed away at 7:25 pm Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Independence House, Fostoria.
She was born October 18, 1938 in rural New Riegel to Joseph Edward and Corrine (Frankart) Bouillon.
Surviving her include two brothers, Gerald Bouillon, Tiffin and Harold Bouillon of New Riegel; three sisters, Doris (Ralph) Lortz, Carey, Josephine Kimmet, New Riegel, and Mary Ellen (Carl) Hoffman, Burgoon; Godchildren, John Hoffman, Gerard Kimmet, Philip Lortz, Dennis Bouillon, Elizabeth (Bouillon) Hammer, and Janet (Bouillon) Ink; 47 nieces and nephews, over 120 great nieces and nephews, and many great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Edmund “Jim”, Carl, Brother Rene’ OSB, Floyd, and an infant brother; and two nephews, Francis and Larry Bouillon and a niece Lynette (Lortz) Perkins.
Theresa graduated from New Riegel High School in 1956 and retired from the Budd Company, Carey in 2002. She was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel and its Rosary Altar Society. She was a co-founder of the New Riegel Right to Life. Theresa was a devout lady who feared God, came to love God, and always served God. Many will attest to this.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the Hoening Funeral Home 242 W. Tiffin Street, Fostoria.
Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 10:30 am at All Saints Catholic Church, New Riegel with Rev. Tim Kummerer presiding. Rosary will be prayed prior to the mass. The family will gather in church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery. A funeral luncheon will take place at the New Riegel American Legion.
Theresa requested in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Riegel Right to Life or a charity of the donor’s choice.
