Paul F. Seebon
Paul F. Seebon, 94, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday morning June 11, 2017 at Promedica Fostoria Community Hospital.
He was born April 16, 1923 in Wyandot County to the late Leo and Margaret (Fox) Seebon. He married Bernadette J. Welly on September 4, 1948 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kirby, and she died February 14, 2010.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda M. (Richard) Haman of Fostoria and Terry L. (Dan) Gaietto of Tiffin.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Seebon (died 1945 WWII) and William Seebon (2016)
Paul retired in 1983 from Norfolk Southern Rail Road as a yard clerk after 41 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, the Fostoria American Legion Post 73, Amvets Post 69 and the Fostoria United Sportsmen's Club.
Visitation will be take place on Wednesday June 14, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at HOENING FUNERAL HOME 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday June 15, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Wendelin Catholic Church with Rev. Todd Dominique presiding. A Rosary will be prayed at 10 am at the church.
Military honors by the Fostoria United Veteran’s and committal services will take place at the Veteran’s Memorial Chapel in Fountain Cemetery. A funeral lunch will then follow in St. Wendelin Parish Hall and burial will follow the committal services in St. Wendelin Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to The Fostoria United Veterans, St. Wendelin Cemetery Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice.
