Kenneth L. Maenle, I
Kenneth L. Maenle I, 53, of Point Place, passed away suddenly, Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Montpelier Hospital. He was born on September 15, 1963.
Ken was a sales representative with Advanced Rubber and Plastic for over 20 years. He loved his family and especially loved being a Pa-Pa. He was a Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed camping and fishing.
Ken is survived by his wife of 32 years, Candy Maenle; children, Mindy (Josh) Glashauser , Kenny (Kim) Maenle II, and Holly (Johnny) Howard; grandchildren, Alayna, Miranda, Alex, and one on the way; siblings, Keith (Judy) Maenle, Kevin (Andrea) Maenle, and Kimberly (Doug) Knop; step-father, Robert Bikar; mother-in-law, Barbara Gibson; grandmother, Selma Slavin; his furry girl, "Peanut"; garage buddies, Terry and Paul; best friends, Steve and Pam Wiederhold; and the crew from Shady Shores Campground. He was preceeded in death by his father, Thomas Maenle; mother, Shirley Bickar; and grandmother, Clarice Portteus.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 2 until 8 pm at the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611. Funeral services will begin on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11 am at the funeral home. Brian O'Connell will be officiating. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
