Doris Kuntz



Doris Marie Kuntz, 80, of Findlay passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Fox Run Manor, Findlay.

She was born May 1, 1936 in Toledo to the late John E. and Alverta (Ries) Yates. She married Woodrow Marshall and he preceded her in death. She then married Howard Kiser and they divorced and then married Harold Kuntz and they divorced.

Surviving are children, Sharon K. of Florida, Calvin G. Marshall, Lima and Steven A. Marshall, Fostoria; daughter-in-law, Pam Marshall, Findlay; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Lou Burlile, Findlay. She was preceded in death by a son, Everett C. Marshall; granddaughter, Annie Jo Marshall; brother, Melvin Yates; and sisters, Ruthie Louise Snyder and Elizabeth Jane Vannest.

Doris retired from the Roppe Rubber Corp., Fostoria and had worked at the Tomato Factory, RCA and Flo’s Halfway Inn. She had been a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Fostoria; the Eagles, American Legion and VFW auxiliaries.

Visitation is Tuesday April 18, 2017 from 6-8 pm at HOENING FUNERAL HOME 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria.

Funeral Service is 10:30 am Wednesday at Hoening Funeral Home with Rev. Terry McBeath presiding. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia.

Memorials are suggested to Bridge Hospice Care of a charity of the donor’s choice.
