Colleen F. Kolling
Colleen Francis Kolling, 90, longtime resident of Point Place, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2017, surrounded by her family. Colleen was born on December 31, 1926 to Conrad and Annie Bromm. Colleen worked as a secretary for many years but her true passion was spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up and then spoiling the great-grandkids when they came along. She enjoyed boating, reading, traveling, and taking day trips with her gal pals even when they would get lost.
Left to cherish Colleen's memory are her son, Scott (Christine) Kolling; grandchildren, Heather (Michael) Musgrave and Bradley (Brittany) Kolling; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Noah, Hannah, Sean, and Carson; special caregivers, Theresa and Carla; and best friend, Mary Pennington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; son, Mark; and special friend, Willis Day III.
The family would also like to acknowledge the staff at Kingston of Perrysburg and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for such wonderful care.
Private services for the family will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park with Pastor Cindy Getzinger presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church in Point Place or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, Toledo, has been entrusted with arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be made by visiting www.hoeningfuneralhome.com
